Powder Coating ZO6 rims

I took my ZO6's to a place i know of, and they told me because the center cap is plastic you cant do it, can i get an aluminum center cap to match my rims so i cant powder coat that too? what are my options

Depending on the color you chose, just have someone paint them the same color. Shouldn't be too hard to match.

BTW.. I've read that powedercoating subjets your rims to some high baking temps... which can weaken the alloy.. I've seen a pics of a powerdercoat rim that had the spokes fail on a roadcourse... You may want to check the temps and material the rims made out of to make sure you don't weaken it.
