panhard rod problem

I was putting in the panhard bar and to put in the bolts I had to tap with hammer which I thought was normal, but I came to find out when I went to the other side the bolt wont even go in so I'm guessing that I put the bar in backwards if anyone has any suggestions how to get the bolt back out I have in there that would be wonderful!!! The bolt I have in is on the driver side where the bar is bolted to the rear end.

Thanks!!!!

You could try driving it out with something.

You can't line them up because the axle has shifted. You need to find a way to move the axle relative to the body. A come along will work hooked into something sturdy on the axle and on the body. You'll want to pull in about the same angle as the panhard rod.

Jack the car up and put the jack stands on the body. This should allow the rear to hang and move enough to line up the bolts. Also I think the bolts only go in one way, remove the bar and make sure the bolts go through the bracket that the bar bolts to.
