Not sure what you mean by new -- new as in worn out ball joints/bushings replaced or want it to handle better? Went through the 1995 manual and there do not appear to be any major differences between the v6 and v8, you just have different springs, shocks, maybe bushings, anti-roll bar diameters, possibly rear drum brakes?

Assuming you want to upgrade, where the Z28 and V6 will be different: Here is a good summary on spring specs: http://www.angelfire.com/my/fastcar/suspension.html Lots of aftermarket shocks, of varying quality, tokico, kyb, bilstein, koni, all sorts of posts on shocks if you search. There are also differences in bushing hardness (1LE being the hardest factory; aftermarket poly harder still).

PS: Another thing you should consider is the 98+ brake upgrade for the fronts and possibly discs for the rear. The brakes are my personal favorite suspension mod; the 98+ brakes are substantially better then the 95 brakes (aluminum versus cast iron, larger diameter rotor, larger pad size).
