no traction and no idea HELP!!!

ok i have a 93 TA with a 95 rear end its a m6 and i have cat back cold air hurst shifter and eibach suspension and 17" ZO6 wheels no matter what i have not been getting any traction in my gears even 6th if i push the pedal the wheels just spin and i dont get traction for a while my tires arent bald theres a good 80% left on them but i have no idea whats up i dont think my clutch is slipping but does anyone have any idea what up with that?? please give sum info either or or PM me or send it to mouw94@hotmail.com thanks

Even 6th? Are you sure?


Sounds like your clutch is slipping. I really doubt you're spinning 6th gear, even if you're peg legging it.

Try putting the motor under load and see if you "lose traction". Like going up hills at a constant rate of speed, if your rpm's spike, its a clutch. If you see two black stripes, then you have a traction problem.

has there ever been a factory freak cuz that would be sweet but i kno its not that and does anyone happen to have a clutch for sale i hope to god that isnt it i was about to take my car to the strip : (

dude im not trying to be a smart *** but going to the track when you know you have a traction problem would be throwin' your money away. Nitto makes some nice 17" drag radials

hey i have a friend who has a center force clutch that he would probably sell. Are you interested??? Its USED but only has 5 or 10 thousand miles on it at most.
