New control arms.. now feels funny?

Hey all i swapped out my old control arms for some stock replacements with poly bushings, but my steering feels weird. Liike the wheels want to turn by them selves. Do i need an alignment after doing such a job?

Fronts? If it's the front you will need an alignment because pulling the control arms out messes up your castor/camber..did u mark the bolts where they were at b4 you pulled the arms off?

I didnt mark them (my first time) so i guess thats why the car feels funny when i turn the wheel.

You absolutely need an alignment after changing fronts, and you'll want to check those poly bushings regularly for wear.

Oh good. I was so discouraged when the steering felt so funny after all that hard work. I thought the poly's were like indestructable! How much do they wear out?

You serious - poly bushings only last a year? I've been running the full ES poly "master set" for 7 years in my Formula, and every piece is in way better shape than the stock rubber bushings I removed when the car was 5 years old and only had 65K miles on it. The ES poly tranny mount has been under three different tranny setups - T56, TH400, TH400+Gear Vendor - in an 800HP drivetrain, and its just like new. There is no visible wear on the front upper and lower A-arm bushings.

I also thought the poly's lasted alot longer than the stock pieces.
