My new CAMARO! ASR Q?

I'm proud to say that I am the extremely proud owner of a black 2000 M6 SS.
I noticed that once in a while a light comes on that reads: ABS INOP and when that one comes on the ASR is automatically turned off. The only way I can get it back on is to shut the car off. It will then come back on in a few seconds. Can anyone tell me why this is doing this and how to fix it?
Replies would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Re: My new CAMARO! ASR Q?

without knowing if the car was tuned im guessing 1 of 2 things. bad sensor, (dont know which one tho) or issue with tuning like i had. asr switch didnt do a thing when it was happening but eventually corrected itself, and do it again til i had it retuned.

Re: My new CAMARO! ASR Q?

Problem is your car has four ABS/ASR sensors, one on each wheel. You need to check the harness connector for each sensor, and make sure its clean, dry and firmly connected.

If the ABS INOP light comes on, it is possible for a dealer or someone with a TECH-2 scanner to read the code that will tell you what turned on the light.
