Lower Control Arms

I am installing adjustable LCAs. The question is how do you get the rear end into the proper position. I can not get the LCAs in to the proper place to get the bolts through the holes. There is a trick to everything I must be missing something.
Currently they are the same length as the originals.

Hopefully you jacked the rear of the car, and took the weight off the tires. If not, you aren't going to have much luck getting the bolts in. With the chassis supported by jackstands, and the rear axle supported by a floor jack, it doesn't take much muscle at all.

I was at the track one day and a guy asked me the same question... he was trying to swap out the LCA's with the car sitting on all four wheels. I loaned him my jackstands and floor jack so he could get his car back together.

The car is on a lift.
So all four wheels are off the ground.
It just seemed harder than it should have been to get the LCAs to line up with their holes.

A "frame" lift?

Do you have a drift pin to help get them started?
