LCA bushing HELP please

I have burned out the vertical and horizontal bushings of the front LCA's. The ES replacement horizontal went in okay, but the 3 piece vertical is giving me problems. Does anybody know how to install these? The ES parts list says that there are 3 pieces that make up the vertical
(#3263 center)
(#3264 lower)
(#3264 upper)
What is the secret to get these in? Thanks for your advise...

I just spoke to Joe from ES, and apparently you have to press out the outer shell and don't reuse it. So you just have to reuse the inner metal sleeve. Does this sound right to anyone? Thanks

Just looking for some comfirmation that I understood ES correctly. Is there anyone that has Energy Suspension bushings in their front Lower Control Arms?

On the vertical bushing, the ES instructions clearly state that you must remove the stock "can" that held the stock bushings in the lower A-arm. It can be removed by hammering it in at the top to break it loose from the A-arm. When you get the "can" out, you will see how the 3 pieces of the bushing go together, with one piece having a groove in it to fit over the edge of the A-arm where the can used to be. The hard red ring gets sandwiched in between the two polyurethane 1/2's. On one side they went together fairly easily, on the other side I had to use a big C-clamp to force the 3 pieces together.
