You'll want to take those tires off in order to get to the bolts a lot easier. I have an adjustable BMR panhard rod too. I put the adjustable side on the passenger side because it will just make it a lot easier to adjust it if I have to. The grease fittings should be pointed down so you'll be able to grease the bushings once it's installed. I picked up a tube of grease for poly bushings from spohn when I ordered something else. I'm sure you'll be able to find it at local place or one of the sponsors here though.

The panhard rod is the one on the left that is hanging from the bracket. Much easier access with the wheel off.

Be sure to tighten these bolts to spec otherwise you'll probably end up with some clunking noises over bumps, especially the LCAs.

How do I find out what is "to spec"

And I got the grease when i orded the parts.

The grease fittins should be pointed down? at both ends it looks like there is a fitting on each side?

I'm a little puzzled by your continuing questions..... I gave you a picture of the panhard rod, and another picture of where you needed to support the car on the subframes. Were these pictures unclear? Were my explanations unclear?

Just checking, because I put a lot of time and effort into trying to help you, and it seems like it was totally unclearly written, or you just chose to ignore what I wrote. Help me understand where this went wrong.

The subframes thing, I was just not reading right or at first, then trying to compare your pic to my car it was harder to follow that line where the lift was when looking at mine cuz i didnt have as good of a view.

Your panhard rod is angled the opposite of mine? or is the straight bar going across? that pic kinda threw me off.

Your explanations were clear, very happy to have them. I tend to get a little paranoid with cars too.

For today I only got it back on the ground to loosen the lug nuts, no one has been around and i get a little nervous jacking the thing up.

I do apprieciate the help!

Re: Installing panhard rod, rear lower control arms, shocks, and steering brace

Ok broke my floor jack and got another, wheels are off its on the stands and the jack is supporting the differential.

Trying to remove the bolt. The BMR paper says to use 2 18mm wrenches, but that doesnt fit over it. Did GM use different size bolts for the third gen? I have to buy them to try them so Im looking for an idea first since these things are expensive for just metal, thanks.

[EDIT]

Monkeyed one off with plyers on the bolt head and teh 18mm on the nut, other is not budging(sp) put oil on it and am letting it sit.
