If the tire is tilting out at the top and in at the bottom, you've either bent the lower a-arm, or hit it hard enough to cause the a-arm to slide under the tension of the adjusting bolts. If the tire is level top to bottom, but is angled to the side front-to-back (toe in or out), you bent the steering tie rod.

Have you checked the wheel to make sure it is not bent? Put a dial indicator against the edge of the rim, and rotate the wheel. The dial indicator should not move signficantly. If it does, you bent the wheel (or possibly the spindle).

take it to an alignment shop, they should be able to tell you what is bent.
I had a bent spindle on one of our cars, when I put it on the alignment rack the camber was 2* negative. An easy way to tell if its a spindle is to stick your hand between the top of the inside of the wheel and the upper balljoint. There should be equal distance between both sides obviously. Unless the damage is severe, it will be hard to see visually.

The one on the left is the bent one.

Its a place to start at least.
