Hi all Camaro 1997 ABS problems in Denmark

I need a Standard Motor Products ALS317 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor - w/TRACTION CONTROL for my Chevrolet Camaro 1997 5,7 the car's VIN is 2G1FP22P7V2108352
I need the right and left rear, and I can not find anyone who has it in stock maybe you can help me?
I can see that the Standard Motor Products ALS318 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor looks the same as als317, but can I use als318 it instead of als317 or what is the difference between these two or is there another one I can use instead of als 317 ?
I have a car to 19000.- usd because of car tax in Denmark on 180%
I can not drive the car because of the law of Denmark abs brakes must work 100% real
so it's important to me so hope you can give me an answer
regards

Those sensors rarely go bad, but they do tend to collect magnetic filings on their magnetic tip. They may only need to be cleaned off. Anyway, looking at rockauto.com under part number searches shows the ALS318 wil work on your camaro. Nothing listed for ALS317.

Do you know for a fact that the ALS318 will work? Cause, according to the vin number, it has to be the ALS317

I can't say for sure...probably a question that the manufacturer would be able to provide at SMP - Standard Motor Products. I've seen pics of both, and they look exactly the same, but have no idea why they would change the part number from 317 to 318. Are the original sensors not on the car?

Since you have one out, you can check it. It's just a coil of wire around a magnet inside of it. Find a multimeter and see if it measures 3k +or-10% ohms.
If they check out, I'm thinking either the reluctor wheels aren't on the axles, or the PCM doesn't know you have a 4CH ABS system on the car, or bad connector(s).
You may not want to hear this, but there's no sense in replacing something might not be bad. Just my 2 cents speaking.

Did you have the EBTCM (electronic braking and traction control module) scanned for codes, to determine why the ABS is not working? That's what controls the system.
