Hal QA1 coilover Good or Not worth it
Re: Hal QA1 coilover Good or Not worth it
Do you mean the standard QA1/HAL coil-over shocks for the front, the QA1/HAL coil-over conversion for the rear like Spohn sells, or both?
And what kind of car are you talking about.... year?

The QA1's for the 4th Gen are "coil-over" in the front, just like a stock 4th Gen spring/shock coil-over setup. The stock shock has a fixed lower spring seat. The QA1 shock has a threaded body, so the lower spring seat can be moved up and down by adjusting the nut that locates the seat.
The QA1's for the rear are not coil-over and are not adjustable.... no threads on the body. Spohn builds and sells a rear QA1 "coil-over conversion" that allows you to use a QA1 with a threaded barrel and lower spring seat, making the rear ride height adjustable as well.
