Greaseing Poly bushings...

Well i installed Prothane Poly bushings on my front control arms (upper and lower). I greased them very well with the greae suppiled. But now when i am driving on rough roads they are very squeaky. I knew from the start they were squeaky when installing poly bushings. I already got my alignment done and really dont want to pull the Arms out again, but want to grease them.

My dad was telling me they make needles you can buy to inject the grease in them and just use a brush to grease along the outsides of the bushing. Anyone ever hear of this? Hopefully this could quite them down a bit if this method works.
And i should use "teflon grease" ,correct??

Thanks!

Re: Greaseing Poly bushings...

I was told to use synethic grease for poly bushings. Energy Suspension sells a "special" grease for poly bushing; it's like thick vasoline. Some guys also mix antiseize grease into the "mix".

Re: Greaseing Poly bushings...

I liberally used the grease my poly bushings came with and have had no squeaking problems at all.
