Is this a good price for labor?

My friend has a '92 Z28 and he wants to have the following stuff changed/replaced/fixed and some guy says he'll charge $120 and a 12 pack of beer for the labor to do it, and he still has to buy the parts...

1. The rear sway bar is hanging down & not connected to anything on the passenger side...theres a busing or something there thats missing.

2. Replace the front idler arms

3. Replace inner & outer tie rods

I dont know jack about suspension stuff, and neither does this guy..he swears up and down that thats what everything is called, etc but it just dont sound right to me...so if I named some stuff wrong then please educate me(so I can educate him).

So is this a good price for labor? It sounds step tp me considering its not like you have to be a rocket scientist to do it. Are there any special tools required or something? I looked under the car and all the stuff looks pretty straightforward as far as how to do it. Some of it looks like it'll take some 'ol hammering but other than that I dont see why its so much...?

Thanks

-Chris

Re: Is this a good price for labor?

For the rear sway bar, he is replacing the end links, cost around 20 buck for both sides at the parts store... Easy fix... About 20-30 minutes...

Idler arm only or the pitman arm too?????? Idler arm around 20 and pitman is around 30-40... tie-rod ends probably 10-20 a piece...

Labor cost seems about right for 2-3 hours of work... Dont forget to get the car aligned....

Cool I just wanted to check for him because hes gonna get it done I just wanted to make sure its not too high....I figured just by looking at it that he could do it himself and save that $120. Not to mention he still has to get a alignment.

Im gonna see if I can at least talk him into doing the swaybar end links himself...save $20.

Thanks a lot
