front end problem

I have a 1995 camaro and going down the road it will pull left and then it will pull right all the time. Anyone have any idea what may cause that or anyone know where I can find a front end rebuild kit?
Thanks dustyn

What size tires are you running? The real wide/low profile tires can suffer from a phenomenon called "tramlining". The steering will pull left and right as the edges of the tires ride the grooves worn in predominantly asphalt pavement by 18-wheelers and 80,000# tri-axles.

It has 275 40 17s all the way around but it did it with the 245s as well. My other camaro will pull but not nearly as bad as this one. Thabks that might be all it is

Re: front end problem

Different brands may produce different results. The troughs that wear in the asphalt roads will generally not appear on concrete road surfaces. I would try comparing the results on asphalt and concrete surfaces to see if there are any differences.

I run 275's and the wandering is there, but minimal. Most of my front suspension has been upgraded though. If you have high mileage on an 18-19 year old car, might be time to have the front end checked for wear.

Okay this car had been sitting since 2002 and I just got it back on the road and has 100k miles. Do you know anywhere I can get a complete rebuild kit for the front end?
Thanks again
