Energy Suspension HyperFlex Kit

Was just wondering if this was worth buying. The description claims to have all the bushings I need, but I don't feel so sure. If anyone knows of a better kit, please let me know.

For the moment, I am leaning toward it because of its description and price.

Re: Energy Suspension HyperFlex Kit

I installed the full kit about 6 years ago. It was complete, and the improvements were evident and significant. I did the complete install myself. The poly bushings stiffen up the sway bars, the front end is super tight and solid, the tranny mount kept the T56 in place, the TA bushing improved the lift on launch. Obvious improvements with the LCA's and panhard bar.

BUT.... as I upgraded a lot of the suspension parts, the bushings became redundant or unused. With a Spohn TA you don't need the TA bushing. I no longer run a front sway bar, and the Spohn drag rear sway bar doesn't use bushings, nor do the solid rod end Spohn LCA's and panhard rod. So, in effect, the parts were great for a street car, but if you plan to push the limits on a "track" setup, a lot of the parts become useless.

I'm still using the ES poly tranny mount, now under a TH400/Gear Vendor combo, and all the front A-arm bushings are still there. But if I upgrade to a tubular K-member and tubular A-arms, I don't even need those bushings any more.

Depends how you plan to use the car.

Re: Energy Suspension HyperFlex Kit

I see what your saying. Well for the moment, and for a while to come, it will be a street car. Later on I will step up on the suspension, but for right now I just need a kit that will replace my bushings because the ones on my 169,XXX mile car have never been changed and are worn.

I'm glad to hear that the kit is very much complete. I see it as a great value for all the performance bushings in the kit. Thanks for the reply.
