E-Brake skips.......

Yeah, you heard right.... I'll go to yank on it and it goes all the way up after a couple clicks. Goes up w/ no resistance. If I lower it back down and try again, It catches.

How do I adjust it anyway?? Where should it be w/ new pads?? 2 inches up??

Hmmmm... Must be a common problem........

Now, how do I adjust the e-brake itself?

This sounds like a fairly common problem, as I've found several threads about it. Did you ever find out what caused this? I am experiencing the same problem -- every so often the lever will snap up with no resistance at all. Then, if I work the lever down and up again, it seems to catch.

Thanks for any replies!
