Control Arms which side is "L"?

Control Arms which side is "L"? driver or passenger side?
I'm replacing all the steering and suspension on my fron end. The upper control arms have a "L" and "R" but which direction do these apply? 
Is the "R" the drivers side or passenger side? Please help! Thanks!
