Anybody Have a Spohn Torque Arm and True Duals?

I want to know if there is any way to get the spohn piece to work on my car wit h 2.5" true duals coming off of pacesetter longtubes. If not, what are you true dual guys running with longtubes and how well do they work?

Hey, I'm running true duals with Spohn's newer torque arm. I have a H pipe instead of an X. You can put true duals on anything but your ground clearance might suffer a bit. What kind of crossover pipe do you plan on going with? You can see in the pics that I put the H right before the torque arm for better ground clearance.

I already have 2.5" True Duals with and X-pipe and bullets installed. It's low, but fortunately I haven't scraped anything yet.

I see that in your picture you have the standard-style torque arm that mounts to the transmission tailshaft. I know that style will fit because it is the same style as stock, only tubular, beefier, and adjustable. The style that I'm looking at is the one that uses the G-load brace mounting points instead of the tailshaft of the transmission to bolt up to. Spohn's site has a torque arm for longtube headers, but I don't think it will work with true duals.

I'll probably have to end up going with the BMR or Spohn torque arm that mounts to the tailshaft, but I just wanted to make sure that I absoluetly couldn't run the other style torque arm before I go ahead and buy one.

i had FLPs, Spohn arm and dual 3" mandrel bent exhaust on my 94 .. I had the long tube version of the spohn arm .. bought a few mandrel bends, took the car to an exh shop and he just made it up on the go .. it worked really well, unfortunaly have no pics to show

he put both of the 3" pipes through the spot where the Y pipe was and then spread the pipes apart to go around the driveshaft, then dropped them right before the axel .. no X or H pipes.. just straight through

Cwynn - I wanted to check to see if you got the G-load mounted T/A piece to work with your duals. I'm wondering the same thing now. I'm in the process of putting a 3" dual, X-pipe on my car and need to upgrade to the same T/A since I have a Th400.

What is everyone else using for a T/A that mounts to the tunnel with duals?

Thanks,
Pete
