Anti lock warning on after replacing bulbs

Hi,
I have an antilock warning light on. It came on after replacing the 4 1157 tail lamp bulbs with led bulbs. I do understand that the high mounted stop lamps will do this but looking at the wiring diagram can’t see any mechanism for this? I don’t see any wiring from the abs module to the tail lamps? I have put the original bulbs back in and the warning is gone. Abs codes 95 & 96 were logged. Has anyone else come across this? Is a load resister all I need? Thank you!

Have you seen Shoebox’s fix for the LED's in the factory SS spoiler?

And the 95 ABS diagram has an “input” that appears to combine the brake switch, cruise control, and the HCMSL:

The problem is not with the high mount lamp. This fault only occurred upon replacing the 4 1157 bulbs in the regular tail lamps with led bulb? Not sure how the mod will help?
Thank you

Re: Anti lock warning on after replacing bulbs

If you look at the factory service manual for DTC 95 and DTC 96, it indicates both codes are specifically related to the CHMSL. Would appear by changing the load on the brake switch circuit, it has altered the voltage the EBCM is reading from the brake switch circuit. You may need a similar “fix” on the regular brake light circuit. Additionally my Owner's Manual calls for 2057 bulbs, but that's for a Firebird. Don’t know if the Camaro is the same.

Have you tried the turn signals?
