Yes I know stupid. Basically the shop said it has swollen up all the rubber hoses and gaskets causing it to be impossible to bleed out. So they said I would need to replace the entire system. IS this true? They said everything from the ABS unit, hoses, master cylinders and calipers all have to be replaced. Is that true? The rear brakes should still have the proper fluid in them as I didn't touch the rear lines at all. So the mechanic then said, well if that's the case you might be able to get away with switching out the calipers w/ rubber hoses, proportion valve, and master cylinder. Then flush it many times. He said not to worry about the ABS unit as it should still be good. IS that true? The fluid was in there for only a day or two and I couldn't bleed the stuff out so I drove it to the dealership and that's the only thing I did.
Has anyone done something as boneheaded as this?

Yeah petroleum products cause rubber to swell up.
He's quoting all that stuff to cover his butt, not because he knows for a fact everythings been contaminated. You wont know if its contaminated until you go to take it apart and replace it. And even then you wont be able to tell on some of the parts.
