Question ABS and break pressure problems

Fist off my ABS INOP light has been on for like 7 months, my BRAKE light just came on like 2 months ago. but the brakes still worked.

Yesterday i changed my brake pads, rotors, and took off my calipers off to paint them(just front). when i put them back on they had no pressure so i bleed them. when i bleed them with car off it builds and holds pressure but when i trun car on all the pressure goes away. i tried bleeding them with car on and it still didnt hold any pressure on the front brakes.

the rear brakes dont have a drop of brake fluid. when i tried to bleed them none came out i took the bleeder screw out and nothing tried car on and off.

then lastly i seen alot of post on here saying i need to bleed my ABS system where is it located and how do i bleed it?

If you have an ABS code, it may interfere with bleeding the brakes. You need a Tech-2 or other high-end bi-directional scan tool, to "home" the ABS motors, before you bleed. Hopefully, you are starting at the ABS unit, then working at the calipers.

I have had some issues with that after replacing the tractioncontrol.
On the front of the abs unit are 2 bleederscrews like on your calipers.
The methode i use is unplug the battery, bleed the abs first then the usual methode of bleeding the calipers and after that bleed the abs again.
plug the battery take the car for a litlle spin to get above 20 mph( to adjust some valves in the abs unit) and then back to the garage and bleed the rear brakes again.

The ABS unit is the huge, clucky mass of aluminum that that lines from the master cylinder connect to. In this photo, its at the top/center of the photo:
