93 salad shooters on 3rd gen

My buddy would like ot put my 93 salad shooters on his 3rd gen trans am. Does anyone know if these will fit? He has the wheels with what looks like the backwards setup on it you kow the edge looks deeper on the front rims more than the rear.

Re: 93 salad shooters on 3rd gen

The backspace is about 1.5 - 2" more on a 4th Gen than on a 3rd Gen. The 4th Gen wheel will be too deep in the wheel well and rub the inner fenders. There are adapters from Skulte to solve the problem, but they will cost more than the wheels are worth.

You can install a 4th gen rearend and everything will be ok. It's a bolt-in.

Thansk guys I dont think he wants to go that far I thought that they would bolst right on. Like Injuneer said more trouble than they are worth. What is a set of 16" Salad Shooters in mint condition with tires 2 are half tread 2 are borderline worth?
