The "braces" for your case would be a frame machine.

That car needs to be put on a frame rack.

Don't go around driving missing two of the bolts. The kind of stuff people think to do is "ok" around here is mind boggling.

These cars don't "settle" to their kmember, or else hundreds of people wouldn't be able to install NEW aftermarket kmembers with no issues lining up holes.

Think about it.

You're confusing "gut instinct" with "wishful thinking"

exactly, it needs to go on a frame jig to be straightened. A new K member is just a band aid anyway. It still wont drive right and you will probably not be able to get alignment in spec with a tweeked subframe.

it wont "settle in". its bent and will be that way forever unless you have it fixed.

Depends on the amount of work the car needs. Frame/body work is an hourly labor thing.

When it comes to your safety and others that drive in your car, You will have to bite the bullet and spend the money to get it corrected or sell the car. Just think if something were to go wrong, you might be in for a big lawsuit and have to live with yourself the rest of your life. Not worth it. Get it fixed.

being he said one of the middle bolts wouldn't line up....I don't see the frame being bent....sounds like he needs to loosen everything and try again.

It could be bent but I don't see how the middle bolt would be out and not the outer

Exactly. It doesn't make sense. Oh well. I put it for sale and have like 15 messages on my phone. We'll see. If I get what I'm asking for, then my problems with it are over and I go back to hunting for my beloved thirdgens.
