FYI, I'm a member of a local board here in Nebraska where Josh is from... http://starcityracing.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=14317

looks like he's done... Phones are off, website is down and he told the local board owners to remove his banners from the pages. He did this with out asking for refunds when he had a few months left on his advertising contracts.

I'm sorry for those of you who got ripped off or messed around on from this guy... I don't personally know him but from what I heard it was mixed reviews, some great and some horrible. Not saying I can do anything but being more local I "might" be able to have better luck contacting him or have someone on the local boards who can. Perhaps if he can live up to his promises it'll help him in the future and help you out at the same time???

I am on the same local board as Aric, and have been telling people not to do business with this joker for over a year there. I am sorry for not coming here and warning you guys, I haven't checked this board in years. CustomSSI isn't a company. It is just Josh. It isn't even his full time job, the last I knew, he was working at Wal Mart. Did this all get setteld for the rest of you guys are not?

Just to clarify, they are no longer a sponsor here. I only say this because I noticed that some are saying they still are, which is not accurate.

Thats good. I bought from CustomSSI when they first became a vendor on here so needless to say I got pretty good service. Towards the end, it seemed like I saw alot of complaints though and his Ebay track record wasn't the best either.

 

im going to visit josh today. im out 1500 right now for an ecu, another guy locally was given a tracking number for his parts, and today he confirmed that they were received. his phone goes straight to voicemail, and he wont reply to text messages anymore. he insisted on sending the ecu to me, but since i live down the street from him he wont meet up with me or my girlfriend (i work 6 hours away) i havent heard from him in 2 weeks, and i bought it in june. any of you guys still out money?


ive bought 2 other things from josh, the wastegate was given to a friend to give to me (working out of state) and the other he dropped off himself, which i thought was great customer service. IF i get my ecu or my money back, i wont be buying from him again. sorry to hear you guys went throught the same crap.
