UCF ISM students in here

I just thought I would make a new thread to make sure everyone reads it. I didn't go to that orientation thing, I heard it was a waste of time. Anyways, the teacher did say something like--don't expect to all sit around and take the test and copy down the answers from that test. An example of what the tests will be: He will make 100 possible questions, but each test will only be 25 questions--so for the most part everyone will have seperate questions ( a few might overlap). But if we still want to get together and take the tests it would still be easier to have 5 people looking through their notes and books then one person by themselve. Our first test becomes available January 22nd (Wed) and has to be completed the 26th (Sunday)--so lets see who might be interested and we will make more plans come test time.

just another reason

This is a reason why if we can get enough people together this website would rock. You could meet people from all classes there just like on here.

Yeah, I saw that posted on here 1 other time-I just didn't see too many people going on there and using it. Anyways I registered and got an account. Only problem is it seems on there if a teacher or a TA find out about the website they could go on there and click on a post about let's get together and cheat on a test--then all they have to do is click on your name and get some of your personal information and your screwed. I dont know, maybe not.

dont post your personal information, and we will also post a disclaimer stating if you are a teacher you may not hold anyone liable for information you find on there, or else leave. solves that haha.

Sounds good. I put a post on there as well to see if anyone is interested in "helping" take the first test. We'll see if there are any responses.

Here's what was basically said during Saturday's ISM 3011 orientation:

- Don't even try to take tests together because the questions on each test are not the exactly the same and they're not in the same order on every test

- You must get a 12/12 on the practice quiz

- You must complete every module in order for the next module to be released

- Make sure you post in your correct discussion group

- All class materials (textbook, Excel workbook) can be used for tests

- No online flaming

- etc, etc.

The class doesn't seem too hard, but it's definitely a LOT of work.
