I can tell you the movie theater is NOT hiring, butit was for $5.50 an hour anyways.

One of my old roomates did some telmarketing... I think she made decent money doing that.

I realize that it's pretty easy to get a telemarketing gig around here but I hate those people and I don't think I could harass people like that. My roommate did it and couldn't handle it after about 2 months.

part-time jobs are very limited in UCF area. i moved up in july and still haven't been able to find a job yet. it sucks being a student b/c my hours are limited. i checked the school paper in the classifieds and they have valet parking jobs downdown that i might call about. other than that theres no a whole lot unless you hear about an opening from a friend.

hehe when I was looking for a job, I appled at maybe 40-50 places, I got hired by the theater, been there for 2 years been promoted up to a manger, and the hiring manager told me only reason she hired me was because, she hired my roomate, and my girlfriend, and would feel bad not hiring me. So I barely got this job by the skin of my teeth, and luckily this job is very flexible, because I have been able to stay at it for over 2 years.

took me about 4 months to find a part time job.

I make pretty good money waiting tables at Chili's. I'm not sure if it is something you'd do though. You can easily bring home 250-300 bucks CASH in 20 hours. Helluva lot more than Target!

Not sure if you are still looking, but you might want to check any of hte local Wholesale clubs.

Sam's starts off at $8 per hour ($8.35 for the tire shop).
I beleive Costco satrts off at $9.5 to $10.

I'm at Sam's right now workign in the Tire dept. Not a bad college job.

Since I am a maintenance manager and get paid to go to home depot and lowes to buy stuff, I take my time, I do see alot of people applying at home depot and lowes, and i here they start at $8, which is more then I make whereing a suit and tie to work, and handling deposits of ~$4k on a regular basis.
