electrical problem??

The last week I have had some weird electrical problems with my car. Recntly I swapped the rear on the car(still having issues with the rear discs rubbing the pads). I hooked up a SCU2000 to correct the speedo and shift points. But in the last several days I've had to replce the idler pulley , the battery, change out the Alternator, and this morning on my way to work the car was hestating during acceleration. Could all this be realted to the scu2000? or just age of my car (65,000 miles)? Any ideas would be helpful.

if the scu your talking about connects to the vehicle speed sensor on the tailshaft of the tranny get rid of it... it was cause nothing but problems. one of my old z's developed a ton of problems a month after I installed that thing and that was the culprit.
