YEA I heard about that event..my buddies up in St Augustines have a 69 Camaro and they go and have told us about it to no end...sounds like an awsome event!!Hope so it would sound like the Summer Nationals up in Worcster(sp) MA. last year I went they had about 5000 cars..basically the whole downtown and state park is one huge car show...almost like a bike week

and This year I gotta give up the Nationals for something closer..guess the Turkey run will be it!...I love seeing just rows and rows of muscle cars...

the Turkey Rod Run is it for just american cars??? hope so..then I will be home ..though a few non american cars can show up...dont mind a sweet loking RX7 or Lotus or Supra.

It is hot rods. They are divided into catagories. Nothing like dozens of 94-96 Impala SS's in a row!

It will never turn into a rice fest, worry not! I will be there for sure this year! Last year was the first I missed in a long time, and only because of family trip. Not this year!

The total count was 56 cars on display for the show an 17 more in the back on display not participating in the show.

It was hot very hot outside, then the weather came around 1pm.

Overall a good show for the 1st one and a 3 week notice.

I ended up taking 1st place 4th gens (co 1st place with Bruce from River City F-bodies) plus I took best of show for 4th Gen's.

I had a great time. 4 of us drove down from Jax on Friday through the monsoon and stayed at the hotel - then a couple more RCFB members joined us on Saturday morning. Sweet ride Sean!
