Eckler's 1st CamaroFest

Just got a flyer in the mail about this. Eckler's Camaro in Titusville is having a swap meet/for sale corral/car show deal Saturday June 5 from 9am-3pm. I have to work, but I'm just putting it out there for others' interest.

To register online for show/swap/corral, go to www.worldwidecamaro.com and in the bottom right column, click on "Events". On the Events page, click on "June 2004". Scroll down to that event date and click to download the registration form.

I haven't looked at the site, maybe it has all the info on it too. If not...

Car Show - preregister until 6-3-04 for $15, $20 day of show. Registration closes at 10am. Judging begins 10am and ends 2pm. Awards presented at 2:15pm.

For Sale Corral - $10 preregister until 6-3-04, $15 day of show. Call Sharon Stowe at 800-327-4868 x446 to register with a credit card or send check payable to Eckler's at...

Swap Meet - 10'x20' space for $15 preregister, $20 day of show. They say used parts only. Call Sharon 800-327-4868 x446 to reserve a space.

Some sort of discounts available in their store (except on big stuff) and FREE HOT DOGS AND COLA WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Also they have Lee County Sheriff's 3rd gen & Thomas Stricklin's '94 Camaro with a 502 for display.

FOR MORE INFORMATION, CAL SHARON STOWE at 800-327-4868 ext446.

Hope this helps...

Should be a good show I will be attending as well as a bunch of guys from my local club (Classic Camaro of Central Florida).

FYI- They will have a portable chassis dyno at the show that will be available all day for show participants. From that I was told it will be $50 for 2 or 3 pulls I am waiting for confirmation on the number of pulls.

West Palm would be about an hour and a half north on I95.
Worth it? Ive only been to a couple of Ecklers shows but they were good. This is the first one of these for Camaros though.

Why are you selling it and how much are you asking?

I got there alittle late. About noon, and people were already leaving. Whats up with that?
I hate to put someones show down but, man that was lame. Couldnt have had more than thirty cars.
I saw no one from our club. That is annoying too.
Seems like they had it to see if they could sell stuff in the showroom more than have a show.

That's too bad the turnout was weak.

Which generation made the greatest representation there?

wow..I was going to go but my car was shipped to the shop today...

I attended the first F Body day at the Museum of Transportation in Boston and over 250 Firebirds and Camaros showed up...and this was not a published event at all. flyers ere sent out but only about 100 and put on cars the weekend before..and still got a a huge turnout..well huge since the MoT didnt expect that many cars..especially Camaros...I thought car shows here in Florida would show a bigger turn out...

what gives??

It may be that there are so many car shows here. If you want to travel a little, you could literally go to a show ever day of the week.

I stopped for a few minutes only because I have never been to Ecklers before.

You want a big show in Central FL? Turkey Rod Run. Daytona. Thanksgiving. 2500+ cars and huge swapmeet....
