Recently my 94 Camaro v6 3.4l threw it's rod so I need a new engine. (5 speed manual)
Had a few people suggesting the gm 3.8l v6 motor.
​​​​​​How would I go about swapping that/ what would I need?
Not looking to do a V8, just a cheap summer project and would be cool to throw a supercharged 3.8l in there.

The 3.8 is a transverse (fwd) engine. It would take a good bit of Fab work. Try swapping the 3.8 in a fiero for a fun time...

 

The longitudinal version of the 3.8L Series II V6 was installed in the Camaro/Firebird as the base engine from 1995-2002. Swapping into a 94 would not be a “good bit of Fab work”.
