how to make ride smoother with summit springs

my ride on my 94 z28 is very rough, id like it to be a bit smoother as im about to be putting sfc's on this weekend and i heard those will stiffen it up a bit.

im unaware as what brand shocks are on it, the fronts are black and the rear red.... but im assuming they arent correct anyways which shocks would soften it up a bit

or should i be looking more into tires? i have 17's front and 18's rears-the rears what feels more stiff

What air pressure are you running in the tires? What are the full tire size designations?

They are 245 45 17 front and 275 40 18 rear. I'll get pressures today

40-aspect ratio on the 18's shouldn't cause unreasonable harshness. But some tires can be worse than others. The 40's are probably 1" larger diameter than stock, if your car left the factory with the Z-rated tire option.

So what would be good shocks to pair with these springs? Would a stock replacement like Gabriel ultras or Monroe reflex be any good?
