wheres my antifrezze going?

so today i got my car put back together and it runs well still havent found where my braded ground wire goes i probley dont need it.. but the car runs

after filling up the radiator i bleed the system and added more antifreeze i think if put in 2 1/2 or close to 3 gallons total .. does that sound about right? idk how many gallons this car takes

4 times now the low collont light comes on so i add another 10oz of antifreze. then run it up to operating temp.. and the car wants more coolont.. so about 10oz again.. happed 4 times so far

my oil is good theres no leaks from the hoses. my antifreze looks good other then its brown now and not green.. the exuast has the normal condisation for about a minute after a cold start..

the cars running at normal temp a littel under 3/4 on temp guage

im still hoppen theres air in the lines and this car takes 3 gallons of coolant

Did you "burp" the system thru by loosening the bleeder screw on the line coming off the radiator?

Also, where is the braided ground wire located that you don't know where it goes? There is a braided ground wire that comes off of the coil and needs to be grounded to the frame in order for the coil to work properly - so you may want to connect that...

There are two bleeder screws. When the low coolant light comes on, where are you adding the new coolant?

As far as fluid capacities for your car, read your Owner's Manual, its all in there. If you don't have your Manual, they are available online, courtesy of Shoebox:

You really need to sort out the ground wire problem. Your earlier post was very misleading because it wasn't clear on which wire you were even talking about, and you made orange marks on two different wires in the photo, confusing everyone.

thanks for the info.. i made marks on the same wire.. i just maked were the braded part of the wire was conected to the frame. and the other marks on the wire was the same wire.. just 12 or 14 guage clamped on the braded ground

havent changed the head gaskets.. car has 120.000 and alot of abuse on it so theres a big chance that might be it... ive herd stories of a water pipe on the back of the block leaking.. has anyone experenced this?

all ive done so far is change out the water pump plugs and opticoil and do a few timing cover seals.. nothing major..

The only way I can see the steam pipe from the back of the heads leaking is if the banjo bolt seals fail... or if people forget that two seals are requred for each bolt. From your description if they were leaking there'd be an obvious puddle under the car. As most everyone suggested it's most likely you haven't added enough coolant.
