Trouble Code Diagnosis/Service Manual Related Question

In the factory service manuals, when conducting diagnosis of an On Board Diagnostic trouble code and it says to check for a voltage reading of B +, what does that mean? Does it mean a positive reading equivalent to whatever voltage the battery is putting out? I'm sure there is probably a key somewhere in these books that would tell me exactly what it means, but I've yet to find it and these books are huge. I thought maybe someone here might know.

I've conducted a couple of tests and the reading I'm getting is 12 volts, but I'm not sure whether that represents a True or False condition when the test is for a reading of B +.

If this isn't the correct forum, I apologize.

Thank you. I was troubleshooting an OBDI code 48. I believe I have a bad MAF sensor.

And you should be looking for +12V on the pink wire in the harness connector.
