I mean, in a way it's neat, but you can't actually view the entire thread from beginning to end... it almost looks like posts are missing unless you look through the threads and times posted up top.

It would be nice down at the bottom and as an accessory but not a requirement to view the entire thread.

I'll look through UserCP and see if there's an option for disabling it. Maybe I just don't like change.

 

OK I just checked and the setting seems to be called "hybrid mode". I changed it under UserCP -> Options, and changed it to linear mode, which is the 'old way'.

Unless of course this has always been an option and some glitch in my account just caused me to be changed to hybrid mode?

 

Yes, it's always been a user option.

 

Well somehow it became the default setting on my profile, at least, and I haven't gone into the 'options' part of my UserCP for ages until now (to fix it). I guess just a heads up then...
