Exclamation The pissing matches here will now stop

Okay, it is time to put a stop to some of the negative things that have been going on in this forum.

This forum has always been pretty clean and full of good information, but recently it has come to where there are far more arguments than we will accept. This is NOT a place for unwanted product pushing that also causes heated debates lined with cheap shot remarks. This forum is to help people, regardless of what product is being used.

If there is less help and more argument, the source of the argument needs to be looked into, especially if that source has been banned from several other automotive forums for the same reason.

This has absolutely nothing to do with product A versus product B and being biased in that regard. This is about people restraining themselves and keeping things fair and civilized.

Agreed.

I still would like to see an objective test between "Product A" and "Product B," however. Evil, are you still doing that?

The source of the argument stemmed from a few people here deciding to bash me for posting my results of a product. That should be looked into also. You are looking at only one side of the problem with this forum Jason. I had no idea the hostility coming from a FEW members of this board concerning car waxes. But I also hope everyone (me included) can learn from this and chill out with the blatent bashing that has been going on, and get along.

No comparison test will ever be "objective", based on peoples experience, climate, technique, and preferences. Rather than fight and argue, why not just post pics of YOUR OWN car, and tell us what you use to make it look good. If others have similar successes with the same products, that's great. There will never be ONE "best" product, just be happy with the results you attain from whatever it is you use!!!

I assume you are mainly referring to me here. Did I ever bash YOU personally? NO, I said I don't like the way the owner of F113 does business, but I'm sorry YOU took that so personally. I'm not sure what "blatant bashing" you are referring to, but if I happen to have an opinion, you better believe I'll express it. Was I ever hostile? I don't think so, at least until others became that way towards me...yes, I WILL defend myself and what I believe to be the truth. 99.9% of the time I am always willing to happily help others, and you took your case WAY of out proportion IMHO. And, if you or anyone else has EVER followed my posts in the past, you would see that virtually NONE of them were negative or hostile or bashing or whatever you wanna call it. In other words the problem ain't me...

If you want my true opinion on these matters, it seemed to me that the recent posts were made just to "stir the pot" anyway...and that's exactly what happened...

Maybe I need a permanent break from this forum, because it was nor ever has never been my intention to make others feel bad or post false or misleading info, couldn't be further from the truth actually. If my services aren't needed or welcome here any longer, it's OK with me.

Have a good one, I wish you well...
