Overspray in the engine bay

I had my car painted and there is overspray on everything. What would be a good cleaner to remove all of the spots?

Specifically, the overspray is on the valve covers, air cleaner, headers, intake manifold... basically they didn't cover anything under the hood. I'd hate to clay on those parts and I don't think clay would be good on the cast aluminum intake manifold.

Thanks.

metal polish or rubbing compound. Scrubbing it with a green scrub pad should work too. It will scratch it up though. If it was an actual shop that painted it, I think I would bring it back and tell them to get that crap off.

Thanks. I'll try the metal polish on the valve covers. I would have taken it back but the shop was cheesy and took two weeks to paint. I tried the legal attack but that didn't go anywhere. With work like that I doubt they will be business any longer.
