Angry Overspray!!!

This sucks... My car was parked at my apartment complex and I was away at school for the day. The apartment complex next to us was painted while I was at classes and it was slightly windy so now my car is covered in little dots of paint. I'm waiting to hear from the painting company about what they are going to do. I think I'm going to have them give me enough money to cover purchasing a whole Zaino kit and then I'll detail the car myself. Well I will let you know how it turns out.

More than likely, all you'll need is a claying to remove the overspray. The longer it stays on the car, the harder it may be to remove. Try a good clay bar first with lots of lube, remembering to fold and knead the clay to a clean side often. If claying doesn't work, you can use an abrasive as a last resort, like a paint cleaner or SMR.

Overspray Clay will remove it. Car soap works well as lubrication for this purpose. Just mix up a fresh bucket after you wash your car. Put some on the paint and clay away. You can then easily rinse to inspect if it all came off.

Mother's is a good claybar you can pick-up locally at Pepboys. Clay Magic you can find at Autozone. Mail order you can go for lots of different bars.

For tougher spots, then soak a rag with some mineral spirits. Hold it on the spot, let it dwell a minute or two, and then carefully wipe away.

Well I talked to the guy today and he is going to purchase me all the Zaino stuff I need to get the car back to origional so it worked out good... I'm planning on doing the Z18 this weekend so hopefully the paint will be back to shining like it should be. I'm going to follow it up with a couple coats of Z2 and Z6...
