my door handle broke one the drivers side of my camaro. The handle is still in tact so i am not sure what the part is that i need to buy. Thanks for any help.

Inside our outside handle? GM doesnt sell those anymore (unless someone has a source), but parts stores like autozone have them. Im not sure which part broke on yours though if your handle is together... guessing that its with white plastic clip that attaches the handle to the rod. Probably still have to get a whole new unit, unless your willing to make a junkyard run.

i looked at the piece that autozone sells and i dont think it is the right piece. there are no camaros in my local junk yard so i can't go there to get the part.

Ah the bolt on the back side of the door! Are the threads stripped on it? If not, the nut should be in you door. You should be able to retrieve that by taking the interior door panel off. If the threads are stripped, then the autozone door handle also comes with new nuts on the backside of it. If your not in too much of a hurry, im sure there are some guys here on the forum that have an extra handle laying around.

Thanks man! I took it apart and found the nuts inside and the bolts where not striped so i got lucky there. Thanks for the help!
