I have been told to patch it up, but i plan on keepin this a long time. And taking care of the rust first seems like common sense to do it right. I plan on begging pour money on this car in 2 month. But i need to get my shop hunting game down first. How much yal think i will get quoted to unrust or fix the whole roof?

That's at least 4 grand of work.
You need a roof full quarter panels and probably some work around where the back glass sits.
Go to NastyZ28.com
I am a member over there and I'm sure somebody can give you a shop that can do the work that you need.
You do need to find somebody that does Restorations and not just a body shop.
If you were in Florida I have my car at a great shop they do fantastic work!!
I have had all the work that you need in your pictures and more done to my car and you have to know what your doing.

Vinyl roofs were an excellent idea. Not. That's a shame

Find another car with a better body.. This one will end up costing too much to properly repair.

Sec Gen Camaro's are hard to come by and are worth a lot of money.
I have around 12k just into the body of my 71.
There worth every penney you put into them.
