Detailed the Bird (56k take a long walk)

I picked a great weekend to detail (94+ degrees out) but I got started last night at about 7:30PM and finished up on the wax today after the sealant cured. I'm very pleased with the results! This 11 year old paint still has something left.

Process Included:
Washed vehicle with Dawn
Orange Lake Country Pad w/ Menzerna SIP - Porter Cable
Black Finishing Pad w/ Wolfgang Power Gloss 3.0 - Porter Cable
Wolgang Sealant 3.0 - By hand - let cure for 12 hrs
Souveran Paste Wax - By hand

theres no better feeling in the world then detailing your car to perfection topping off the gas tank and just cruising. and clean car rides so much better. i spent 4 hours detailing mine today i took it out and a 5 second out of the blue downpour ruined it

Nice work and great improvement I love the color combo! With all the grooves and hidden areas on these cars, I find them very time consuming. I barely ever polish mine anymore, do you think you will put the bird back on the front clip?

Thanks for the compliments. I have had the bird off the nose for a long time now and think it looks much cleaner that way. I also removed the sidemolding last summer and that made a big difference as well

That looks awesome, the black paint with the tan top looks great plus the great job you did with it!! Any tips? I was looking to buff my car since it has swirl marks on every panel at this point. Gotta get a buffer first, where did you get the products you used? I only have some 3m buffing compound right now.

My wife could do her makeup off your hood.
