Best scrach remover that I can buy in a store...
I took my car to a shop and they got some tree sap on it and tried to clean it off with a rag
now there are "deep" scrachs in my hood, I have tried Scrach X with no luck... any suggestions?

If they are pretty deep, you may need a light compound as a swirl remover might not completely remove the scratch. Check out this page of compounds..... http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/sub...gory=Compounds
3M Perfect-it II Fine Cut Rubbing Compound and Meguiar's Fine-Cut Cleaner #2 are the lightest compounds available locally at places like NAPA.
Also, you might want to read this article: (and note they suggest the 3M Fine Cut Compound I mentioned earlier) http://www.properautocare.com/byhand.html
