Ill offer the same deal to anyone who wants to come, not just G22lvr, so if your close, want a good deal on a f-body that needs work for 1500-2000 gimme me a call. Dont say Im lying if I give you a chance to let me prove you wrong, even offering to pay for gas if I am lying.

ps, G22lvr, we will also go look at my buddies 95 he bought for 1500 and we just put the engine in. Thats the one I was telling that guy about in that post that you said I was lying about.

I said I'll be UP there on the 11th. 1 or 2 for $1500, makes no matter. I'll bring my buddy up with me, and we'll drive it home, IF IT EXISTS. I'm still waiting on a VIN number so I can get a CarFax done. I'm not going to jack myself off on a car that may or not be fictitious until I have SOME sort of substantiating evidence that it exists. When/if that happens, I'll come UP ther, I'll gladly look at your toys you say you have, and your buddy's, and I'll post on here that we were all wrong and full of **** for ever doubting you. Why are you guys all up in arms? He will more than likely be able to show you a Z28 for $1,500. You want to know why? Because it will be completely ragged out with body damage, BUT you will be able to drive it home. I'm guessing most people won't want the car as it'd be too much a hassle to bring it up to snuff - that's WHY it's $1,500 and he doesn't want it! I'm sure if you look enough, a private party will sell this kind of car. Shoot, I can buy a working car for $50-$100.

If someone wants to trade their f-body for his Maxima, PM him. If not, let the thread die already.

Why wait till the 11th? Lets do it now, I dont want to keep getting called a liar for telling the truth. If nothing else, come see the cars, what do you have to lose? You can decide if you want the car or not, you dont have to buy it that same day. I should be able to get in touch with the guy who owns it, either way, I can show you 2 that sold for 1500. What do you have to lose?
That guy said it perfect, its a car with body damage. See, even he knows the f-bodys with damage will NOT bring in3500. You guys said "any f-body that is running is worth 3500 atleast". Its not the prettiest things in the world, but you all are the ones that said "any", not me.
Dont get me wrong, you will not see one that is clean. It WILL need work.
If you buy one, you should give me some sort of finders fee, since an f-body forsale for 1500, no matter what the condition is one hell of a steal. I think even someone said a parts car f-body is worth 3000.

You have a point. I paid $1,500 for a T56, pedals, hydraulics, etc for my tranny swap. $1,500 for a complete drivetrain (and car) could be a really good deal.

Alex, I may be buying a 96-97 from a guy near me. My buddy wrecked the car in the front, but didnt blow the airbags so it wasnt that hard of a hit. He sold it to a guy for 1500 and it drove perfect. It was a 6 speed also. MY buddy kept the car spotless 99% of the time also. I am going to ask the guy who bought it if he wants to sell it or not. I think if I show him 2000 he will take it because thats a quick and easy 500 bones to go in his pocket.
If this happens and I buy the car, Ill have quite a few interior parts forsale as I will gut the car and go racing with it.
Do interior parts sell well? Or hell, I may sell everything in parts, tranny, etc..
Could I make money off doing this?

Duhh, you allready asked me that once. Sorry, Im in southern Va. I dont have any pics of the car. Ill get in touch with the owner and get a pic or two. Ill get you his number if you would rather talk to him. He has a twin brother and I allways get them mixed up, lol.
I can descrbie the car as best i can, that way you will know if its even something you may be intereted in.
Car is black. Auto, no clue about mods. Its pretty loud, but last I heard the car he had what sounded to be a header leak. Front nose has damage. Fender has damage. These two may be able to be fixed, and not replaced, but Im not sure.
The car runs great, but he is a 18-19 year old so the car has been raced. That never scares me off from buying a car, but it does others. Cant remember if it has t-tops or not. It has 140,XXX miles.
I raced him a while back and only put about 3 cars(fromwhat i can remember) on him in my 99 so the car is definatly no slouch to be an auto. It has the factory Z28 wheels of that year. It is definatly either a 94 or a 95. Im sure its not any newer than that.
Im not trying to scare you off as I think its a hell of a deal myself. I just dont want you to think its perfect.
If I had any more room for another car, I would definatly buy it. He has told me $2000 for it, and $1500 for it, so I think if you flash $1500 for it in his face, Im allmost positive he will take it.
