Thank You for seeing my point.I don't care about the car sitting. It's the principle about what he is doing. It's fuggin wrong.I got screwed and I don't want anyone else to get the shaft.

It's funny how he openly admits the wrong doing yet still post topics of stuff for sale. What in the world is going on here?

No No.He is selling them when he doesn't have them.He buys them cheaper there and then sells them for more here. Then has AFS free ship them to whoever sends him money.AFS called BS and stopped it!

It's all good.AFS and I are having a little chat about this.

We'll see what if anything they will do for me.

not to get in the middle of this, but why if you knew he was buying them cheaper from AFS would you buy from him and not the company? If he sold them on LS1tech, shouldnt you keep it there instead of spilling them over here? because it was posted here that he didnt actually own the rims... and several people have bought from him before with no problems.

Why in the world are you even looking at what I did?

This guys sold stuff he didn't have.I sent him the money and he didn't produce the goods.Nuff said!

And for the record one more time.I found out about his method after I sent the money.I mean literally a matter of hours after.

Do you wanna be the next person he gets money from and doesn't have what he says he does?

slomofo didnt do anything wrong.., so he didnt have the rims physicaly himself?..so what, you should have done yur research before you bought the rims from him..., so afsstopped shippingthem? your money is comingback.., since the wheelsare cheaper directly from AFS anyways why not buy from them now and be happy about it?.., in the end.., you are gona save money anyways so why get all pissy about it? what if slomofo were running a real business?..and the drop shipper didnt ship something. after u had placed an order online for it..would u stop buying form them even though they had no control over it?

go buy a set of wheels form afs and use the extra money to buy some chill pills dude

the MODS have already spoken about this!

and as for AFS not selling wheels to him, in my opinion somebody shouldn't be selling something on this board that they "DO NOT PHYSICALLY HAVE"

but that is my 2 cents!

to be honest, i have been getting really tired of seeing the "ZO6 WHEELS FOR SALE" post on the first page for what seems like months straight.

I would never sell my wheels off my car and leave it on blocks so I could afford to buy another set. You didn't really have the cash to buy them to begin with, if you had to resort to that.

I have bought parts from Slomofo recently. Yeah, so what if they shipped from a different location than he is located. I got my stuff in 2 days from a paypal payment. The deals are all good.
You goofed. If you had had the cash, without selling your wheels, this would have been a non issue with you I'm sure, your money is on it's way back to you. You obviously feel like a dip**** and are passing the buck for your own stupidity (re-read my first sentence above).
Again.....

You know, back in April I ordered a set of Bilstein shocks from a vendor here. He assured me they were in stock even though they were on backorder everywhere else. Sure enough I only got rear shocks and a note saying that the fronts were on backorder. It seems they were doing the same thing... Being a 3rd party vendor. While yes, slomo should be supporting the site if he does this here, It doesn't sound like he is making a business out of it. If he would have bought the wheels for $400, taken delivery of them, then sold them to you for $500, you would have been perfectly happy. He just left out a step, actual posession. Give the guy a break for trying to score a couple bucks. You'll get your money back. As far as my situation, it took me almost 3 months to get my money back. I could have had the shocks by then. But I still took care of it through email and phone calls. This vendor is now a very respected vendor here and I won't share their name. I swore I would never do business with them again. But now that I see what kind of deals they are supplying on great products I might rethink that decision. **** happens to good people sometimes and they get caught in the middle. The warehouse told my vendor they were in stock. They didn't care about me. The wheel company backed out of this deal. They didn't care about you. Both times the middle guy was helpless to do anything but say they were sorry.

You were wrong to sell your wheels. You were wrong to come on here saying he was a crook. If you didn't get the money back and just got runaround... then you'd be getting screwed. Sounds to me like you're peaved and all. But what else could he do? At least he told you the truth when he couldn't deliver. That's very uncommon these days.

hmm. can you guys put yourself in his place? he saw a good deal so he sold his rims to his friend to buy some nice z06 rims. i would have done the same. what if i was short, so i sell my current rims to come up with the extra cash, and now this happens. im stuck without rims still right.

the point being, doesnt matter if he has common sence or not

SLOMOFO DIDNT HAVE THE RIMS! he sold something he didnt have. he sold something he doenst have in his posession. which, should not be done! it gives people false hope.

so if you dont have the item. atleast put in your post, that you are not in physical possesion of the items. that way, if it happens again. it will be shame on the buyer.
