LT1 1.7 Rocker Setup

Well, due to my needing a shortblock, the quest for the 224/230 and 1.7 rocker combo has ended. I'm going with a custom cam and the 1.6's. So:

Scorpion 1.7 NSA Aluminum Roller Rockers -- used, with less than 1k miles total. I bought them like this from a guy who didn't have enough springs for them. PERFECT SHAPE
ARP 7/16" Rocker Studs -- BRAND NEW, sealed in package.
GM LT1 Guide Plates -- Eight of them, brand new in packaging.

Looking for $240 shipped for everything. If you're running a 92-95 LT1, you won't need pushrods. If it's a 96-97, you'll need hardened pushrods.

what kind of lift would you have had with 1.7 rockers and the 224/230 cam?

I sold them to fastbird93, so I can vouch for the quality of these rockers. I would have kept them, but I didnt want to redo the springs.

Yeah, I replied to you last night. Did you get it?

RealQuick--I really didn't want to sell them either, but since I've got to put in a new shortblock, I'm just going custom on the cam. I thought about keeping them for my hotcam/ported head car, but then reality set in and I realized I'm about a grand short of paying cash right not for a fully forged bottom end.

Totally understandable. If I was putting in a new shortblock, then I would definitely go with a new custom cam over my cam as well.

Yeah, it's a shame too because I really think my car could have made 400 with everything right with this setup.

Officially sold to Nick C.
