LS1 Twin Turbo Kit $4500.00 OBO
LS1 Twin Turbo Kit $4500.00 OBO
Looking to get $4500.00 for the kit but will consider any reasonable offer. I have other pictures if you like. Just let me know what you'd like to see.
Kit comes with:
Front mount Intercooler
Blow off valve
Two hybrid T3/T4 Turbochargers
Two Tial wastegates
Manual boost controller
Exhaust manifolds
no CATS. come with an off road y-pipe
coming off a 6-speed car. not sure if there's any clearance issues on the auto trannies.
Front mount intercooler with blowoff valve
All tubing comes with the kit

Reason for selling:
TH400 bellhousing is too wide for wastegate placement. I want to go forward with the TH400 so I'm going with a different setup.
Post if you have any questions.

Re: LS1 Twin Turbo Kit $4500.00 OBO
I really can't give you a definitive answer.
Keep the boost under 8lbs and run good gas and you'll probably not have a problem as long as the tune on your motor is good. Properly functioning knock sensors are also important. You don't want too much timing in there if you're running some good boost.
My 11:0:1 motor still runs and still puts down the rubber after two seasons. But no motor can withstand full detonation.
There's a Corvette buddy of mine who runs the same kit on his stocker and drives a good bit. He likes to take down Vipers when he can...LOL...he's not had a problem after two seasons also.
I would recommend using head studs if you want to go anywhere above 8PSI. These will go to 25PSI if you crank the boost controller up so you can't be crazy with it. Know your gas and timing and boost levels.
