Re: Joe Overton cam

I made 380rwhp through a TH400 with a 3800 stall converter with a 11.20 afr and letting out at 5700rpm due to a new motor I did not want to push it. The cam should of peaked at 6500rpm or a little more. This is all with a 383 motor The cam is made for a vented opti. But can be cut down for a nonvented opti

With my 383 I had 13in of vacuum. If that tells you how streetable it may be? It is a very lopy Idel thgough. It did drive good before I ended up having problems somewhere else though.

The DCR WAS 8.0 WITH MY MOTOR AND A 12.1 CR. So I would check what it would be on your motor other wise this cam would make your car a slouch if it is too much lower. In other words you will need around 12.1 comp to make this cam happy.
