Does it make the intake louder?

 

I really dont think so. I never noticed a difference. But my car has a cam, long tubes and duals so I wouldn't be able to hear something like that anyways. I'ts much easier to work with not having the silencer on it. and I think its made a little better than the stock piece.

I am interested since I put the EWP on I had to get rid of the donkey dong hanging down and just cpped it over with a piece of plastic and duct tape. Am I right in assuming this is the one with no place for the donkey dong thing? A pic if you have one but I am pretty sure this is what I am looking for.

 

Yes this is the elbow that doesnt have the hole for the air silencer. Funny I taped mine off also before I had the money to buy this elbow, even though I just did it to try to get some hp. I can send pics if you give me your email address, thanks,
