I disagree with you 100 percent. And I am sad that we waited for you guys to show at Timmy's, and you never showed.

The meeting was fine. Better than that - excellent. So what if not too many actual cars there - but geezus, its friggin' raining out and some of us people are extremely busy (either with work or helping other guys with their cars), so there isn't time to throw a day permit on the car. We still committed ourselves to the club by showing up though...

Complain if no one insures their car on a gorgeous sunny July weekend... but don't go saying its dumb just because some members choose to keep their cars at home on a pissing down rain March day.

My vent is now over.

Thumbs up

The meeting went very well It seems we got everything sorted out now and well many of the big decisions have been made. Now just time to have some fun with a variety of events

Looks like our first group event may be participation in the Easter Cruise for Charity in Langley(Apr.20th), I will post more details soon

Thanks Guys

If anyone has any questions/concerns feel free to contact me

Now everyone remember, are meetings will be on the last sunday of every month at the Avalon Brewing Company, it doesn't matter what the weather is

If a meeting is cancelled or moved, etc.....I will post information regarding that, so there is no need to post asking whether things have changed. Any concerns regarding this, please contact me

So do we have to pay 40 bucks to just hang out with the group? Say I don't want to be listed on the site or get a t-shirt, stickers etc.. Are we putting a price of friendship here?

I can't cough it up right now and I think it's my right to not have to pay. I'm not dissing the club or anything but I really don't want those extras.

If the club is going to be a dicatorship and make people pay just to be envolved in anything then I don't want to be apart of it at all.

I just want to show up at the meets, eat, talk, mingle and cruise around with the board members.

No, your putting a price do be a part of an organization. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
1) Friendship
2) That great team feeling
3) To be a part of special events
3b) with an extra dose of friendship and team feeling
4) Discounts on events, parts, races, etc.
4b) Which only friendship and a great team can provide
5) Friendship (Yes, I will never talk to you and will think you are an annoying little flea that doesn't stop bothering me, unless you are part of our cool group.)

jeez Armen, What are you complaining about? Did Matt say that you have to pay for him now? I thought giving him rides was enough for his super secret special russian services.

Don't worry, I'll still think that your cool, especially since you have the same car as me The point of the club is to take pride in our hobbies and join together to enjoy our cars with similar minded people. This includes going to events and and finding other things to do that involve our cars. Sometimes, you can be involved in things unless you are a legitimate group of people. Or it costs money to set up and being part of a group saves money. However it also costs money to run.

I say, don't drive the car for two days, and tell Matt that he can't come over one night , save the 40 bucks and join up!! Don't be a spoiler bro. We are all in it together.
