Who will at the Avalon for the meet...

...it that time guys..I need to know how many are coming so I can arrange things. Things will be a bit different than last time...we will ordering from the menu and there will be seperate bills..the reason for this is that I am no longer with the company for personal reasons. In future I have some great idea's for the next meet...so this maybe the last meeting at the Avalon. So after some thinking, things will go as planned for this meet. Thank you and I'll all of you this Sunday....Mike

...no need to reply, just post a poll ...and remember rain or shine

I've heard that some will not be attending the meeting this time if it is raining. Some others are not attending rain or shine. I've spoken with Mike off-board and this poll seems like the best way to guage interest. Johnny, I sent you mail regarding this as well.

If the interest is NOT high enough and/or Sunday's meet is not compatible with people's schedules, we may postpone the event a week or two.

Either way, please vote regardless .

A.

I was thinking we should have it regardless because we should stick to our schedule of having the meetings on the last sunday of each month if we adjust that according to weather our meetings will never be consistent and may casue us to have smaller turnouts because people may have to adjust there schedules more. If we stick to the last sunday of every month then everyoe is aware of when each meeting is. Although if the vote shows that we are only going to have 4-5 people show up then well it may be pointless for some of us to take our time to meet up there.

I'm able to make it and agree with Johnny. Make it the same time every month and stick to it. It's easier for people that way.

I was just thinking about future meetings... Maybe in the "off-season" of October - April, we look at having a meeting every second month, while during summer, every month? Just a suggestion 'cuz sometimes I find I'm not so much into doing the car scene in December as I am starting in May, when the days get longer and the skirts get shorter.

i think that once a month is good... if u start to have it every other month i would think that ppl would start gettin lazy and not be into it as much.

In my honest opinion - the whole purpose of these meetings is to get our organization off the ground. There's no sense having an "official meet" if only 10-15 people are going to show . Having said that, if we are only going to have a small group attend, I don't mind meeting for brunch.

Either way, keep this poll going. Johnny, I'd say this is your decision to make - maybe wait until 6pm Saturday, guage the interest, and make the executive decision .

I see only 15 people voted yes. If this meet is somewhere or sometime else please keep me informed because I'm attending where/whenever.

I like the idea of a smaller venue for this one in the valley. What happened to the interest of going to the motorsports show if there is no cruise?
